What will our fine art portraiture session be like?

We approach every session with a lighthearted attitude and a desire for authenticity! We avoid traditional posing and focus on glimpsing sincere personality. With kids, we love to play - and we don't expect them to sit still and smile pretty for the camera! Our captures are spontaneous and genuine. We encourage families to interact and children to play. Our camera will snag the natural smiles your little ones offer to me! We like to capture details about your children that might be forgotten as time passes - unique expressions as they playfully explore the world around them. Our session will last as long as needed!

Where will we have our session?

All of our portrait sessions happen on location. We really prefer outdoor locations instead of stuffy studio images. With you in mind, the possibilities are endless - an urban setting downtown, a favorite playground, a flower garden, a farmer's market - even your own home. Sometimes we decide to go in a lifestyle direction, and maybe your family wants to capture a trip to the pumpkin patch, or the first day of kindergarten, a backyard barbeque or an important birthday celebration. The result of a session with Blessed Life Photography will always be a reflection of you and your loved ones. We believe in custom photography because it is truly tailored to each family's specific and unique needs.

What is a planning consultation?

We think it's important to discuss and style your portrait session beforehand. This means a conversation about your personal fine art photography needs - maybe you're wanting a session album, a wall gallery or just one striking canvas with several gift prints - and we talk about how to best go about representing your family in a genuinely beautiful way. Clothing and location will be discussed and decided upon together. We love input from our clients about what they really want so we can best serve them! Every portrait session is an artistic collaboration.

How will I choose my prints and products?

Approximately two weeks after our session together, we will have an in-person viewing and ordering appointment. This service is an excellent opportunity for receiving personal guidance in displaying and treasuring your custom fine art photography.

When will I receive my products?

After payment is received in full, your order will be placed and arrive approximately two weeks later. Fine art albums take extra time for processing (but they're so worth it!).
